We’re all aware of how severely the pandemic has affected organisations around the world. But this, coupled with a huge rise in xenophobia and Asian hate has faced the London Chinese Community Centre, London’s oldest Chinese cultural centre, with permanent closure.
So, as a creative collective, we’ve set out to change the conversation. And what better way to do that, than over a cup of tea? It’s an ancient Chinese ritual of welcome and something everyone in the UK loves. So over 50 artists have come together to help direct that love to the LCCC!

Take a look at 55 of the incredible artworks already created to save the London Chinese Community Centre! They're no longer available, but there's still time to pick up one of our awesome Communitea tees created in collaboration with Print Social!
Share the warmth! - whether it’s through purchasing a print, donating, or booking a class at the LCCC, every donation matters and helps them continue their work within the community. This is how your contributions will help:
£10 will take an elderly member (65+) for an outing (i.e. museum visit);
£5 provide one serving of hot lunch & tea at our centre;
£10 will provide free information & advice service to one individual;
£7 will provide affordable classes, workshops, health seminars etc. to one individual;
£8 will support one disadvantaged youth member to join the centre's activities.
Do you know what goes better with tea than milk and sugar? Decent conversation. Use these incredible links to help educate yourself and others on the issues facing, and nuances of Asian culture.
